It's a Book!
Yes, it’s been a while. Things tend to get in the way of others things, I’m cursed with that. So much to do, so little time, and I have more interests than I need, probably. One interest that’s taken up much time lately, is writing. Without really wanting to talk about it, I’ve been writing a book on and off for years.
It’s a book about spiritualism, and it’s about half finished. After much deliberation, I decided to release a Preview Version, which you can read about and download here.
I’ve also been looking for work as a writer, and for a while the job of ”Content Writer” seemed interesting, as opposed to ”Copy Writer” which is someone who writes exclusively for marketing purposes. It would appear, however, that writing ”content” is marketing too, at least the jobs I was offered had little to do with good, honest writing. I could go on about it; suffice it to say that I confirmed positively that it’s true what they say: Don’t trust anything you read on the internet. Marketing is going on even when you think it isn’t. And I have absolutely no interest in that sort of thing. Believe it or not, I want to write about stuff I actually know.
So, I’m left with this blog and my Pages (which you may have noticed, have no ads of any kind), and The Book Project.
Last summer I did a lot of biking, and a little photography. This year I planned to do a lot of photography and a little biking. Turns out I did almost none of either. The weather had a little to do with it, but mostly I just got caught up in various projects, the book being one. I do enjoy writing, and wouldn’t mind doing it for a living - in Swedish or in English. Any employers out there? I’m free to travel, and would love to be a ”traveling writer” or whatever you’d call it. But how to get that kind of work (not being an academic), I just don’t know.
Anyhow, just thought I’d tell the two people who read my blog what’s been going on.
