Some spring images from Kronskogen, one of two nearby forests. The camera this time was the DiMAGE Z10. Last time I used it, I was impressed with the result, and it didn't let me down this time either, although I did stretch its limits a bit.

Getting to know the camera better was one goal this day; the other was to photograph manually, that is to say, use the manual exposure setting. It was a complete success; after a few initial mistakes, the rest were fine. And the exposures need to be perfect in this camera, as there appears to be very little room for error in the JPEGs it creates.

These pictures have only been lightly edited; there's a limit to what you can do with JPEGs anyway, and I prefer not to try. They pretty much came out of the camera looking this good!
